- CeCoP combines research, teaching, and science communication on current issues in the context of violent conflicts and international and intra-societal peace processes. Since 2021/22, CeCoP has been offering the international master's program in Conflict Studies and Peacebuilding, which aims to familiarize students with interdisciplinary approaches from peace and conflict research as well as with professional fields of practice. With our work, we want to make a contemporary contribution to Osnabrück's portrait as a “city of peace.” As a research center, CeCoP is part of the Institute for Social Sciences and cooperates with other research institutions at the Osnabrück University.
- Das CeCoP verbindet Forschung, Lehre und Wissenschaftskommunikation zu aktuellen Fragen im Kontext gewaltsamer Konflikte und internationalen wie innergesellschaftlichen Friedensprozessen. Seit 2021/22 bietet das CeCoP den internationalen Masterstudiengang Conflict Studies and Peacebuilding an, der Studierende mit interdisziplinären Ansätzen aus der Friedens- und Konfliktforschung sowie mit beruflichen Praxisfeldern vertraut machen soll. Wir möchten mit unserer Arbeit einen zeitgemäßen Beitrag zum Selbstverständnis Osnabrücks als „Friedensstadt” leisten. Das CeCoP ist als Forschungsstelle Teil des Institut für Sozialwissenschaften und kooperiert mit anderen Forschungseinrichtungen an der Universität Osnabrück.
